Date: August 25, 2016
Revision: 1.5

Problem

For ERPM version 5.0.1 and later, In the legacy version of ERPM’s web portal, empty pages may be displayed when a user language other then "English" selected in the user settings.

Pages that display the empty screen include but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Main
  • Managed Passwords - Checked Out
  • Applications
  • Jobs - Job List
  • All Workflow pages
  • All Auditing pages
  • All Delegation pages
  • All Admin Tools pages

Cause

The legacy website is no longer undergoing active feature additions or development. New strings and features may continue to add untranslated or improperly formatted items.

Resolution

The best and recommended course of action is to remove the legacy website and install the new website. This will ensure continued support for new features and languages.

If it is desired to maintain the legacy website and you are experiencing these errors, edit "Localization.js" found in the Localization folder where the ERPM website is installed. Typically this path is: %inetpub%\wwwroot\pwcweb\localization.

At the very end of the file, add the following strings:

Code:
$(document).ready(function() {
    TranslatePage();
});

This above code is provided as is with no support or warranty stated or implied.

Applies To

  • Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM)
