Help desk reset keeps telling me not enough questions are verified?


When I use the help desk verification process within arc to attempt to verify a user's answers prior to resetting their password, I answer the minimum number of verification questions and ARC tells me I haven't answered enough questions or sometimes gives an Internal error 500 on the webserver. What can I do?

A: A possible error condition was identified in ARC 5.01 where a registry entry if corrupted could cause help desk verification of user answers to fail. Please download the following file, extract the included ASP pages, and replace them in the ARCWeb installation path, typically "%programfiles%\arcweb\www", and choose to overwrite any files.

These changes will be included in versions of ARC Web released after version 5.01.
